In his book ‘Power vs Force’, David Hawkins calibrates people’s
emotions from levels 20 up to 1000. 20 being Shame which is
perilously proximate to death. It’s destructive to emotional and
psychological health, and makes us prone to physical illness.

At the other end of the scale at 700- 1000 is enlightenment. This
is the level of the Great Ones such as Krishna, Buddha and Jesus.
It is the peak of the evolutionary consciousness in the human realm.

All levels (which could be classed as vibration levels) below 200
are said to be energy draining, and below integrity. These vary
from Guilt (30), Grief (75), Fear (100) up to Pride (175).

People feel positive as they reach Pride level. However Pride feels
good only in contrast to the lower levels. Pride is defensive and
vulnerable because it’s dependent upon external conditions, without
which is can suddenly revert to a lower level.

At the 200 level, power first appears. Courage (200) is the zone of
exploration, accomplishment, fortitude, and determination. People
at this level put back into the world as much energy as they take;
at the lower levels, populations as well as individuals drain
energy from society without reciprocating.

Further levels include willingness (310), Acceptance (350) and Love
(500).

This level is characterized by the development of a Love that is
unconditional, unchanging, and permanent. It doesn’t fluctuate -
its source isn’t dependent on external factors. Loving is a state
of being. This is the level of true happiness.

over a 20 year period using a variety of Kinesiology tests and

The employee with the greatest sense of humor is often the most liked person in any office setting. Aside from lightening an otherwise stressful and boring environment, having a sense of humor will also ensure that everybody’s sanity is intact at the end of the day.

Often, the person with the sense of humor is the one who has the most lunch and after-office invitations from colleagues. He or she is the person the staffs turn to when they want to feel at ease or escape for a few minutes from the daily hustle and bustle.

Though a sense of humor is what will make people flock to you and love you more in the office, you should also be wary about the things you say. If you’re not careful with your words, they could all come back to you and backfire. The next thing you know, instead of making people happy, you could be arousing conflict among your workmates, or, worse, your boss.

Here are some recommendations to ensure that your sense of humor does not cross any sensitive line and get you fired.

1. Choose your words wisely.

Accept that you will never be able to please everyone around you. While some of your workmates might find you hilariously funny, there are those who might be sensitive to what you say.

Personal jokes and poking fun at someone’s appearance, intelligence, or whatever, is not funny at all. It is destructive and will not earn you brownie points. Stick to jokes that are general and avoid personal attacks, as they can hamper inter-office relationships and invite resentment.

2. Pace yourself.

You have to have good timing when you throw in a joke. Sometimes, the tension in the office is too high that cracking a joke does not really help solve matters. It’s not always appropriate to use your sense of humor in any situation. There’s a time to be serious.

If you really need to crack a joke because you feel it will lighten the mood, start slow and start small. If people respond positively, then that’s when you make another remark. If nobody seems to appreciate a small joke at this time, a huge joke might not be in order.

Don’t get carried away. If you’re the ‘office clown’ it’s really not your responsibility to make people laugh all the time. Don’t pressure yourself.

3. Do well first.

People tend to give you more credit and respect if you do well in your particular job. So, before you crack a joke about the office environment or about the tension that surrounds you all, make sure first that you’ve done your job well. After all, that’s what you’re at the office for. A person who neglects his duties and only focuses on ‘making people laugh’ is no good at all. Be one and your boss will surely fire you from your post before you can say, “I’m just kidding.”

Remember that the office is a place for work. While a great sense of humor is highly welcome, you must always keep in mind that there are tasks to be done and that merely cracking jokes won’t get the job completed. However, a good, well-time joke will also help motivate your colleagues to doing better. The key here is timing and content. Keep these two to heart.

The physical aspect of charisma involves the things that can be seen in a person. For some people, this is inborn. Being tall and having a large built can impose authority upon people, and project charisma. While not all people are gifted with an imposing physique, it is still quite possible to present yourself confidently in a physical manner. This is where impression comes in. The powers of the first impression have been stressed in several conversations and publications simply because presenting yourself is a key factor in commanding an influential presence. Who would be engaged with a sloppily dressed monster? Perhaps nobody, but other monster themselves. To conquer the physical aspect of charisma, you should be able to dress decently and strongly. The emotional dimension of charisma involves empathy and compassion. This could be done by training in relational skills. The following are basic tips and advice to help you have your own charisma with the use of colors and style techniques.

First things first, know yourself.

It helps to get the varied opinions of people who know you best. Overall, practice makes perfect. The Secret To Making People Feel Great


I know of a young man coming from a middle class family - tall, lanky, very ordinary looking, and can easily blend in a crowd. The first time I met him up close, I immediately noticed the young man’s eyes. I was drawn into the sparkle of his eyes.

Wait till he opens his mouth and speak. Other teenagers are drawn to him, crowd around him, and listen to each and every word he says. People from all walks of life immediately feel at ease in his company. Older relatives, friends more senior his age, and associates of his parents enjoy conversing with him, for he has an inquisitive and curious mind. They listen to this lanky teenager as he speaks his mind. His friends flock around him. He is everybody’s best friend.

Whenever I am around this young person, I know I am in the presence of a very powerful force, a living proof of a compelling personality, and an actual personification of a charismatic person!

Now, what is the secret of this young person? Why do people flock around him?

The charismatic young teenager draws people near, for he makes them feel great about themselves. He has the capacity to make them feel at ease and comfortable. More importantly, he makes other people experience total acceptance.

I observed that young person as he grew up. Little by little, I was able to discover his secrets for having a charismatic personality. Take a look at his traits:

At an early age, he has a genuine love for life. He accepts life as it is — as an exciting journey, with every twists and turns as opportunities to savor the adventure. He imagines himself like a virus that infects other people to have fun in this incredible journey.

This genuine love for life is very much evident in his enthusiastic and vibrant personality. He can never be described as reserved. He breathes enthusiasm in all his actions. His fast-paced walk, colorful word expressions, and active hand gestures convey excitement. All of these communicate one message: “I love life!”

His larger than life persona spills over his genuine interest in people. He is forever curious about other people’s ideas, concerns, perceptions, feelings, and experiences.

Whenever he meets people, he takes conscious effort to encourage them to talk about themselves and their passions in life. He always steers the conversation towards the person and never about himself. He has big ears for his friends’ dreams and aspirations.

This simple act of listening makes people feel at ease and accepted in his presence. In a conversation, he listens intently, nods, and looks at the person straight into his eyes. He validates the opinions and ideas of his friends. Emphatic listening makes him engaging to people.

Amidst all the admiration from people, the young lad keeps his feet on the ground exuding humility. This last trait endears the young man to his friends and acquaintances. His humility makes him approachable, accessible, and likeable. More importantly, the same trait earned him their respect.

Add up all these three traits and you’ve got charisma. For the young man in the story, charisma is never exclusively about himself. On the contrary, charisma is all about making people feel great and at ease about themselves!

How to be a Great Conversationalist


A great conversationalist is not born. He or she is made. You just have to practice as often as so you can by walking up to people and at the same time enabling them to also talk to you.

Smile. When people see that you are happy, this sends a message to them that you are approachable and friendly. Chances are, they will even smile back and that could already be the beginning of the conversation.

Be honest and not tactless. There are different ways of driving a point; you have to find the right words to say without offending the other person. If you have nothing nice to say, better not say anything and move on to another topic.

Listen and give your full attention. A master conversationalist is more of a listener than a talker. Give the other party time to respond; encourage them to also ask questions or express their opinions.

The previous step can only work by showing interest about the other person and their interests. Studies show that showing importance to the other person will make it easier for you to strike a conversation rather than just talking about yourself.

When you are talking with someone, always address them by their first name. This is a sign that you show importance to who they are, which also strengthens that friendship.

In a conversation, you shouldn’t complain, condemn or criticize; but rather, point out what you didn’t like in a gentle manner. Try to look at the things they have done correctly and acknowledge them.
